Register for a workshop before September 8 and receive a 20% early registration discount. Early registration discount for the conference is 15%. Although the deadline for peer-reviewed submissions has passed, the Program Committee of the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Text Encoding Initiative Consortium invites proposals for "late-breaking" papers, posters and tool demonstrations to be presented at the meeting. The Program Committee will chose among the proposols for a very limited number of conference slots reserved for the presentation of very recent developments. Unlike regular proposals, these submissions will not automatically be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings. The Program Committee of the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Text Encoding Initiative Consortium invites individual paper proposals, panel sessions, poster sessions, and tool demonstrations particularly, but not exclusively, on digital texts, language resources and any topic that applies TEI to its research.
The Program Committee of the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Text Encoding Initiative Consortium is now soliciting proposals for workshops for the 2010 Conference and Members' Meeting, to be held November 8-14 at University of Zadar, Croatia. Workshops are distinct from other conference activities, such as papers, sessions, and Special Interest Group meetings and we have tentatively reserved three days for them. These workshops should be educational in focus or involve hands-on work with a research problem. They should propose topics that are likely to be of interest to recognizable segments of the TEI community.
Important dates:
Proposal for workshops submissions: April 23rd, 2010Proposal submission: May 1st, 2010- Late-breaking proposals: 30 September, 2010
